We have two state legislature special election primaries tonight.
The first is in Georgia House District 90, which covers parts of Dekalb, Henry, and Rockdale Counties. The seat is open because incumbent Democrat Pam Stephenson withdrew from the November election. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, a runoff will be held on March 9th. Polls close at 7 eastern.
UPDATE: Stan Watson will advance to the runoff. We will wait for any provisional ballots to be counted before projecting his opponent.
The second races is in Oklahoma state Senate District 22 in Canadian and Oklahoma Counties. This is a primary race to replace Republican Stephanie Bice who was elected to Congress in November. Polls close at 7 central/8 eastern.
