There are two special elections for vacancies in the Georgia General Assembly. One in the Senate and one in the House. In each district, the seats opened after their former occupants resigned to seek other offices. Both districts are considered solidly Republican and have multiple Republicans running. If no candidate achieves a majority of the vote, the top-two finishers will advance to a March 12 runoff election. Polls close at 7 p.m. (EST). We will have the election results below once they do.
