Outagamie County Canvass Expands Hagedorn’s Lead

April 8, 2019 by Brandon Finnigan

Outagamie County, plagued with reporting issues on the night of the Supreme Court election, has released a new unofficial count that has expanded Brian Hagedorn’s statewide lead in that tight contest to over 6,000 votes:

Per the County, the largest change occurred in the Town of Grand Chute Wards 4-14. The County missed including 1 tabulator tape results in the unofficial results posted on Election Night.

New Outagamie County totals stand at 19,662 for Hagedorn, 15,766 for Lisa Neubauer.

Neubauer has neither conceded nor formally requested a recount. Under state law, contests decided by less than 0.25% have automatic recounts, and a trailing candidate may request- and pay for one- if the margin is under 1%.
