We have a Thursday special election we’re tracking election results for today. The seat in New York’s 20th State Assembly District is vacant after Republican Melissa Miller was appointed to the Hempstead Town Board. The 20th District sits in the southwest corner of Nassau County. The race pits Republican Eric Brown, deputy mayor of Cedarhurst, against Democrat David Lobl, a former special adviser to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. This district as it is drawn now has gone for both Democrats and Republicans in the last ten years but has recently been won by Republicans in the last three elections. We will have election results once polls close at 9 p.m. (EDT)
