We have election results for a special Republican primary in New Hampshire today for the vacant seat in Rockingham County’s 6th District. The seat is vacant after Republican Anne Copp moved out of the district. It is one of ten New Hampshire House of Representatives seats for Rockingham’s 6th District, which represents the entirety of the town of Derry. There are three candidates running for the Republican nomination: Thomas Cardon, a former state representative for the district from 2014-2016 who has run unsuccessfully in every primary since; Jodi Nelson, the vice-chair of the Derry Republican Committee; and Neil Wetherbee, a Derry Town Councilor. The winner of today’s contest will face Mary Eisner, who was the only Democrat to file, in a December 7th special general election. We will have election results here once polls close at 8 p.m. (EDT)
