We have a rare July election we are following today. The seat in Wisconsin’s 24th Assembly District is vacant after Republican Dan Knodl was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate. The 24th District contains parts of all three counties in the WOW. There are two candidates running to fill the vacancy. Democrat Bob Tatterson, who ran unsuccessfully for the seat back in November of 2022, faces off against Republican Paul Melotik, a small business owner who served 11 years on the Ozaukee County Board. Polls close at 8 p.m. CDT. We will have the election results below once they do.
