We’re tracking election results in multiple states today. In Kentucky, voters are choosing their nominees for statewide offices, while in Philadelphia, Democrats will choose their nominee for mayor who will be the heavy favorite in the November General Election. We’ll also have results for what should be a close contest for Jacksonville Mayor, and two Pennsylvania State House special elections that will decide whether or not Democrats will continue to control that chamber. First polls close at 6 p.m. (EDT) in Kentucky counties in the Eastern Timezone, with the rest of the counties closing their polls an hour later. Jacksonville polls close at 7 p.m. (EDT) and Pennsylvania polls close at 8 p.m. (EDT). You’ll want to be checking in with us throughout the night for the most up-to-the-minute results in all of these exciting contests. For a deeper dive, make sure you check out Zachary Donnini’s overview of what to watch for tonight.
