If you’re the kind of person who’s clicking refresh on the DDHQ results page to make sure you can track the most up to date results and following our twitter account to be the first to see the biggest race calls, we’ve got a treat for you.
We’re partnering with the team at Inside Elections for an election night live stream tomorrow night starting just before polls close at 7pm eastern in Florida and again on election night in November.
Our show will be for the real election followers…no talking heads with prepared talking points you’ve heard a million times. Instead, we’ll have a group of the smartest, most plugged-in election analysts and reporters doing what you do on election night…hangout watching the returns, checking in on Twitter, figuring out what it means for the final results, and how it all fits together for November. You get to be a fly on the wall and hear some of the things that don’t always make it into a published story. You can also interact via the comments and Twitter.
“I’m really looking forward to these two nights. We’ve all seen typical election night coverage, but this will intentionally look and feel different. It will be fun to watch the results come in with friends and experts who have been covering these races closely for the entire cycle, and give viewers a window into the conversation that usually happens off-camera. Spoiler alert: It’s not always about elections. It will also be an opportunity to interact with viewers via comments and tweets as we all wait for the votes to be counted.” -Nathan Gonzales, Editor and Publisher of Inside Elections.
You can watch the stream on DDHQ’s Youtube and Twtich channels, plus follow all the results and join the conversation on our Twitter feed.
We’ll see you tomorrow night!
In the meantime, you can get ready for the stream by watching our preview of some of the races we’ll be covering.
