Ad Spending Round Up For Kentucky Governor Primaries Via @MediumBuying

It’s primary election day in Kentucky. We’ll be covering the Democratic and Republican primaries for Governor tonight.
To get you ready for the results, the team at Medium Buying (@mediumbuying) has been tracking ad spending for each of the candidates and their supporting groups.
As you’d expect, sitting Governor Matt Bevin leads in ad spending on the GOP side but each of the three Democratic candidates has spent substantially more than him on what is expected to be a closer Democratic primary.
Democratic Attorney General Andy Beshear has been considered the favorite but he’s been out-spent on media buying by former state auditor Adam Edelen. The state’s largest newspaper, the Louisville Courier Journal endorsed Edelen on Sunday.
In addition to tracking ad spending (see below) Medium Buying has complied a turnout estimate for each of the state’s media markets:
